The Summer Cultural Introduction and Cultural Perspectives programs feature lectures, active participation, and on-site/field learning. CULTURAL INTRODUCTION TO ITALY When: This 1-week field learning course can be taken prior to all summer sesssions and the 11 or 15-week fall/spring semesters. The field learning coursework and activities take place along in Lazio (Summer/Fall) or Umbria (Spring) and Tuscany. The course is also offered as a Florence-only course or can be combined as a 6-credit offering that includes the field learning week and the lecture course in Florence.

The course is also offered as a 3-week Florence-only course or a 4-week course (Session VI) that combines the week of field learning and the Florence session.
