Blending Magazine has been released with the “Genius Loci” theme highlighting the creative spirit of Italians today. Cover story features boxing champ Leonard Bundu.
The Fall/Winter 2014-15 issue of Blending Magazine takes its cue from FUA’s latest academic conference by focusing on Galileo Galilei and how his interdisciplinary genius provides interesting models for current times. Florence and Italy have always been a fertile site for “genius loci” - the spirit of a place - and this issue presents the brilliant minds and abilities of diverse figures including European boxing champ Leonardo Bundu, author-philosopher-painter Nicoletta Salomon and her recent exhibition, Italian indie musician Elvis Elle Elle, and streetwear-inspired designers BATNA from Torino.
